In-The-Money Stock Options

Stock options in which the market price of the stock is greater than the exercise price. In-the-money options are, in other words, profitable stock options.

Example: You have 1,000 options with an exercise price of $10 per share, and the market value of the stock is $15 per share. Your options are "in the money" by $5 per share.
