Privacy Policy

Last Updated: 1/31/2020

myStockPlan.com Inc. ("myStockPlan", "we", or "us"), the publisher of myStockOptions.com and myCompanyStock.com (separately or together "the website" or "the site"), is committed to having one of the strictest privacy policies of any personal-finance and wealth-management website. Below is a discussion of our privacy practices. By using the site, you agree to the terms below. By accessing myCompanyStock.com and/or receiving reports produced by their advisors from myStockOptions.com, advisors' clients who use myCompanyStock.com and/or who receive such content or reports from advisors also agree to the terms below.

Information we collect, and how we use it

Activity on the site: We collect information about your use of the site (e.g. when you sign in, what articles or FAQs you click on, how long you view them, etc.) to aid in diagnosing any technical problems with the site, research ways to improve the site, and to help us understand what content is most useful to users. This information is collected with the help of "cookies". This information is never shared with third parties for any reason.

Info provided during site use: To use some of our tools, or to receive Continuing Education credit for some our exams, you will be required to provide information to the site. myStockPlan.com, Inc., is the sole owner of the information collected on the site. We will not sell or rent to third parties your individual personal data, or your clients' individual personal data, or otherwise share any personal information without your authorization.

However, in the case of a corporate bulk membership, we may need to give the company the names and email addresses of its employees who have registered at myStockOptions.com so that the company can ensure that the appropriate employees are subscribed under its bulk membership; or we may need to give the company the names, email addresses, and exam scores of employees who have taken the self-study courses and exams in the Learning Center at myStockOptions.com so that the company can know who has taken the courses and exams and how they have scored.

Info provided during registration: When you register for the site, you are required to give certain contact information (such as name and email address). This information is used to contact you about new services and changes on our site, for our email newsletters and alerts, and for announcements from sponsors that must go through us (you will never receive any material directly from a sponsor). Our registration page clearly allows you to choose whether or not you wish to receive any or all of this email.

We ask for your US state of residence at the time of registration so that you can use the automatic withholding calculation for state taxes that is part of the interactive tools on the site. We would like to know your company so that we can see which companies and industries our users work in. Employees in different industries have varying experiences, uses, and concerns related to stock compensation. This will help us focus our original content and tools to best meet our users' needs.

To subscribe to Premium or Pro Membership at myStockOptions.com, you need to provide credit-card information (unless the membership is prepaid by your company). It is provided to third parties only to verify and complete the transaction.

To automatically renew your subscription, myStockOptions.com will retain your credit-card data with our processor after the initial transaction and charge your credit card for the appropriate amount at the time of renewal. At any time during your subscription you may delete or change your credit-card data in myAccount. Deleting your credit-card data cancels the next automatic renewal of your subscription. If your membership is scheduled for autorenewal but your credit card has expired, for your convenience we will try to process your autorenewal with a future expiration date.

Security and storage of data

The security of your information is important to us. We use a variety of physical, technical, and administrative measures to safeguard and secure information in our possession against loss, theft and unauthorized use. However, please note that there is always a possibility that a breach in data transmission or storage may occur and we cannot guarantee the security of information from or about you 100% of the time.

Cookies

A cookie is a piece of data stored on a user's hard drive that uniquely identifies a user. This lets you stay signed in to the site, and allows us to track you usage of the site. We currently use temporary cookies that last only during your session, and should be gone once you leave the site and close your browser, or the session time elapses, and longer lasting or permanant cookies that, for instance, tell us you've closed the notification about this privacy policy so not to display it again.

You can disable or limit your browser's ability to accept cookies, or delete those already stored. Please note that doing so will likely interfere with your ability to use the site.

Third party cookies: Advertisers, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to the website or other websites. Their use of advertising cookies enables them to serve ads to users based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet. We have no control over their cookie or privacy settings. Visit http://www.aboutads.info to learn more.

Sharing

We may share aggregated demographic information with our partners and advertisers. This is group data about the broad characteristics of our users. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.

We may partner with another party to provide specific services. If so, we will ask you whether or not you want to sign up for such services. If you choose to sign up for any new services, we may ask you to let us provide our partner with your name or other contact information that is necessary for that partner to provide the services. We will not allow any third party to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services, and never without your consent.

Updating personal information

If your or your clients' personally identifiable information changes, or if you no longer desire some of our services, we provide a way to correct, update, or remove your personal data and/or your clients' personal data by using the myAccount page (for you) and the myClients page (for any clients you track and model for in an MSO Pro Membership). If you have already registered but want to be removed completely from our database, please email support@mystockoptions.com.

Choice

At registration, you will see a prominent way to choose not to receive our email newsletters and alerts. You can also change these settings in myAccount. We reserve the right to send registered users email that promotes the business and mission of myStockOptions.com, including subscription offers, renewal reminders, and notices about new content and features that are integral to your use of your membership and/or our financial-planning conference. We may communicate with you via email to provide requested services and to address issues that relate to your account.

We reserve the right to change this policy from time to time. Any such changes will be posted on this page so that we can keep you informed about how we handle your information. We recommend that you consult this page frequently. Your continued use of our Services shall constitute your acceptance of any revised Policy.
