Richard Anders

Richard Anders is a partner at Still River Fund, an early stage venture capital firm based in Waltham. A long-time entrepreneur, prior to that he was a Managing Director at Rubin/Anders Scientific, a science consultancy; CEO and publisher of New Media Publications, which published Boston Software News and New York Software News; and co-founder and president of Jurisoft Inc., a widely known and well-respected publisher of software for legal professionals, which he sold to Mead Data Central. He also created the Masters of the Web Competition, a nonprofit Web design competition where Web designers from around the country competed to create a Web site for a designated charity in 24 hours. He is a trustee of the Museum of Science in Boston, a founding board member of the Massachusetts Interactive Media Council, and a founder of Launchpad, an early stage investment group. He also serves on the board of the Boston Cyberarts Festival.

A graduate of Harvard College, summa cum laude in mathematics, and Harvard Law School, cum laude, Richard is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the honorary science society Sigma Xi.
