He has written numerous books and articles on preventive law, practice management, and marketing legal services, as well as consumer and business law pamphlets published by Blumberg/Excelsior. He has served as a board member, chapter president, and committee chair for the American Bar Association, American Corporate Counsel Association, and American Society of Corporate Secretaries.
