Louis Rorimer

Before his retirement, Louis Rorimer was a partner in the Cleveland office of Jones Day. He practiced in the areas of corporate and securities law and concentrated in equity compensation arrangements. He counseled individuals and corporations with respect to a wide variety of US and international compensation arrangements, both for executives and broad groups of employees. Louis was chair of the Subcommittee on Employee Benefits, Executive Compensation, and Section 16 of the Federal Regulation of Securities Committee of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association. He served as project chair for the report prepared by members of the subcommittee entitled International Employee Stock Plans and the Federal Securities Laws. He also served as a member of the Executive Board of the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals (NASPP). He is the author of International Stock Plans: The Practitioner’s Guide To Exporting Employee Equity. Louis received his AB degree from Harvard College and his JD from Case Western Reserve University.
