Form 1040EZ

Eliminated in 2018, IRS Form 1040EZ was a simple short-form annual tax return. It did not allow the attachment of Form 8949 and Schedule D for reporting capital gains and losses from stock sales. For details on tax-return reporting when you have stock compensation, see the Tax Center elsewhere on this website.
