Disposition Survey
A method that companies use to track employees' sales (i.e. dispositions) of company stock acquired from incentive stock options (ISOs) and tax-qualified employee stock purchase plans (ESPPs) after exercise/purchase. Companies do this because they must report the related information on your Form W-2 and because they get a tax deduction for early sales. For details, see an FAQ elsewhere on this website.
