Reporting Company
An issuer that is, and has been for at least 90 days before you sell its stock, subject to the reporting requirements of Section 13 or 15(d) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 (often called the Exchange Act). It is important to know whether your company is a reporting issuer when you intend to resell restricted securities under Rule 144 or Rule 701.
