Listing Requirement

Any of the many rules set by a stock exchange (e.g. NYSE or NASDAQ) that a company must follow to list and trade its securities on that exchange. Listing requirements include shareholder approval of new or amended equity compensation arrangements before shares issued under those plans can be listed.
